You'll Be Missed

Some dear friends of ours, The Yeleys~Ryan, Gen & Celeste are moving back to Houston, TX. This is pretty difficult for us since we feel as though they are family. We have enjoyed every moment of getting to know them the past couple of years and feel so blessed that we were able to meet them. I am of the opinion that it is perfectly healthy to be both happy for them & their new chapter and at the same time upset that things here in B'ham will feel a little off once they depart. Of course since this is the technological age we will keep close with them via cellphone, video cam, etc..but that does not replace the face-to-face time that we all crave. It was a rarity to connect with people so effortlessly and with such enthusiasm from the get-go...we have been attempting to take full advantage of the time remaining by spending as much of it together as possible these last few weeks, and it has been a riot. Everything from BBQ's, movie nights, picnics, girls nights out and badminton has been enjoyed by all, yes the void will be felt that much more when they are gone, but every opportunity was so worth it and we will treasure the moments.
